The End of the Space Shuttle Era

When I read the news today, I could not believe the space shuttle era had come to an end! Words cannot describe how proud I am to watch the remarkable moment when Atlantis landed a few minutes ago on TV, after successfully resupplying the International Space Station (ISS).

While I am profoundly reveling in the success of the landing, the acclamation has awakened my national pride. The U.S has been trying so hard to defeat the Soviets for the past decades, and they are no longer our contender with the fall of empires, including space development. I am in awe of NASA and the crewmates for their unconditional support throughout the journey; it is time for them to rest up a bit.
